About Allie

I am passionate about empowering people to take ownership in living their best health. I truly believe the key to finding the root causes of health issues is to educate people about the WHY behind their symptoms. Rather than focusing on addressing their symptoms, I partner with the client to peel back the layers of the onion to see “what’s going on in there” behind their symptoms.  When our bodies are in balance, then physical, emotional, and spiritual healing can take place.

I’ve always been intrigued by natural health, but my path in health and wellness began in 2018 when I became a certified yoga instructor. I was fascinated with the human body and its innate ability to heal, when given the right environment. I dove deep into studying herbal and functional medicine, which five years later led me to becoming a Certified Functional Nutrition Counselor. My only regret is not doing it sooner! I take a holistic view of eating whole foods and using food as healing medicine. We are all bio-individual; meaning there is no “one fix” for a problem that fits all people. Each person is unique and deserves an individualized plan for improving their health. I encourage clients to be students of their own bodies, and I strive to practice that for myself.

I am a Whatcom County native, and I live in Lynden with my husband and three children on my family’s berry farm. (Yes, I am obsessed with berries, and I am a farm girl at heart.) I love yoga, cooking, hiking, being outdoors, boating, traveling, spending time with friends and family, and helping in the community. My husband and I are both mentors through the Be The One mentoring program, and we have been fortunate enough to be able to bring our family to Mexico to volunteer at the Mount of Olives Orphanage. In this season of life, you will find me “Ubering” my kids around to activities, cooking for my family, reading a book, or either taking or teaching a yoga class.
