Meet The Team

Dr. Renay Fredette

FAMILY PHYSICIAN, MD

dr renay fredette md direct primary care doctor in bellingham wa

As a board certified family medicine physician, I have practiced in Whatcom County since 2009. My interests in medicine include women’s health, dance medicine, COVID, and in-office procedures, although my full spectrum of practice includes all areas of medicine and stages of life.

My education and research background keep me engaged in the scientific medical literature and helps me excel as a provider who looks deeper into the nuances of complicated conditions, on behalf of my patients. I have always brought a more holistic approach to my practice of medicine, but listening to and learning from my patients over the years has recently spurred me toward more knowledge of functional and integrative healing.

I am tremendously grateful for my husband, an acute care surgeon, and my 4 children, who are growing up so fast and currently in elementary through high school. My personal time is spent enjoying activities that we do together, including dance and teaching dance, surfing/wakesurfing, backpacking, gardening, and being the new owner of a horse.  It has been a privilege to serve with my family overseas together, doing annual volunteer medical work in a remote area of Honduras.

Canadian-born and California-raised, Whatcom County and the beautiful Northwest have been our beloved home for more than a decade, and we love it here!

Allie Macomber

HEALTH COACH

I am fascinated with the human body and its innate ability to heal, when given the right environment… I take a holistic view of eating whole foods and using food as healing medicine.

We are all bio-individual, meaning there is no “one fix” for a problem that fits all people. Each person is unique and deserves an individualized plan for improving their health.

Olivia Striggow

CERTIFIED NUTRITIONIST: OLIVE NUTRITION

MEMBER COORDINATOR for MOMENTA MEDICAL

Olive Nutrition Olivia Striggow bio clinical nutritionist in Whatcom County Momenta Medical

My approach to nutrition is deeply personal. I believe in forming strong relationships with my clients, recognizing that each individual has their own unique physiology, preferences, and lifestyle. Through collaboration and empowerment, I guide my clients towards making informed nutrition decisions that resonate with their specific needs and goals. Together, we embark on a journey towards sustainable health and well-being, tailored to each person's unique journey.

My educational journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Theology at Loyola Marymount University, where I also competed as a Division 1 swimmer. Fueled by my passion for holistic well-being, I pursued a Master of Science in Integrative and Functional Nutrition from Saybrook University, where I'm currently continuing my education for a doctorate in Integrative and Functional Nutrition.

Beyond my professional pursuits, I serve as the head swim coach at a local high school, embracing an active lifestyle that includes swimming, gardening, playing board games with my husband, and spending quality time with my two fur babies.

Erin Johnson

NURSE, TRAINER

I am a RN/BSN with a passion for orthopedic nursing, dance coaching, conditioning and wellness instructing. I have been an active nurse for 16 years with experience in many fields, but my primary passion is orthopedics and rehabilitation; I love to walk alongside patients and clients and support them on their journey to their best selves.

At Momenta Medical, I desire to bring a knowledgeable and caring contribution to patient care, by assisting with IV services, special procedures, and helping with the holistic and full recovery care that is provided here. I am also a homeschooling mom of 3 and forever student.

BUSINESS OPERATIONS, PROGRAM MANAGEMENT

Some of us know our path and passion from a young age, and some of us contentedly bounce around exploring, knowing “it” might not exist for us. As I look back on my 10+ year professional journey post-college, I find myself in the latter category.

I love to come alongside people who know what they are passionate about and partner with them toward success, innovating and refining along the way. That means I’ve gotten to work closely with artists, technologists, marketers, interior designers, and now a talented, intentional group of healthcare professionals at Momenta Medical.

When I’m not orchestrating keeping all the balls in the air, engaging my team to love their jobs (at least most of the time!), and deliver delightful experiences… you’ll find me designing the details of our fixer upper home near downtown Bellingham, singing songs with my two tiny kiddos, and washing their many dishes.

Now that we’ve introduced ourselves, please do the same!
